The Alexandrion Foundation offered more than 100,000 balls for different sports such as football, rugby, basketball and volley, in 2018. We attended many event during which these balls  were offered. Many sports associations and clubs both in rural areas and in cities such as Timisoara, Ploiesti, Craiova, Cluj or Iasi benefited from theese actions under the name “Balls for supporters”.

The Alexandrion  Foundation and Alexandrion Group continued to collaborate with various clubs in Romanian sports in 2018: the Craiova University, ASU Politehnica Timisoara, Petrolul Ploiesti. They also contntinued supporting other sports such as handball, rugby or water polo within the Steaua Sport Club, cycling, by supporting the Cycling Tour of Sibiu, tennis through the collaboration with Tennis Academy Victor Hanescu.

In 2018, we had over 200 actions dedicated to supporting sports in Romania. As an example: the Alexandrion Trophies Gala that reached its third edition in 2018. The event is dedicated to rewarding financial the best athletes in Romania. In 2019, the fourth edition of this Gala follows on the 7th of February. This is the only private initiative that supports Romanian sports and the best results of the athletes every year.

Supporting events and projects dedicated to sports is a permanent preoccupation for the Alexandrion Foundation and the Alexandrion Group.  Examples of such projects and events held in 2018 are countless: Sports Business Academy – ASE Bucharest, Romanian Football Centenary, Daniel Prodan Cup, RTP Championship Tournament, Ploieşti Basketball, SPORT a IAŞI, World Cup of Journalists’ Football, Rif to Carp Cup XXIV Edition, Train Like a Pro Camp, Tudor Tennis Trophy, Romanian Sports Forum, Alexandrion-Roma Day 2018, 100 – The immortal stories of the Romanian Football, the Wolves Tournament and many more.

Moreover, within the 2018 Romanian Football Gala, Alexandrion Group won the Special Award for the most important company that supports football in Romania.
